Joseph S. Rosenthal
Joseph S. Rosenthal, head of Guzov Ofsink's labor and employment law practice, has maintained an extensive practice in the areas of labor and employment law and commercial litigation during a long and distinguished legal career.
In the traditional areas of labor law, he has successfully represented management clients in several landmark National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and court decisions. Joseph’s client work has run the gamut, including Title 7 human rights cases, federal and state wage and hour enforcement, executive employment contracts and termination agreements, arbitration and collective bargaining, and union-management agreements.
Joseph has served as general counsel to hotel associations and hotels, including several of New York City’s most prestigious. He has also for many years represented prominent clients in the sports, entertainment, and gaming industries. In addition, he has represented various groups in the healthcare industry, including home attendants, housekeepers, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
