Darren L. Ofsink
A co-founder of Guzov Ofsink, head of our corporate transactions and securities practice, and co-head of our international practice, Darren L. Ofsink is a specialist in complex securities and corporate transactions and compliance as well as international transactions and offerings. Darren provides strategic counsel for clients as well as ongoing assistance with all compliance requirements. His clients include a wide spectrum of companies and industries, including software, auto parts manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, broker-dealers, investment advisers, hedge funds, mining, advertising, and technology.
Darren’s broad range of corporate and securities experience includes both public and private financing transactions, reverse mergers, Exchange Act compliance and filings, re-sales of restricted securities, mergers and acquisitions, formation and representation of hedge funds, and preparation of opinion letters concerning various corporate, securities, and State Corporation Law issues. Darren also provides a range of legal services for not-for-profit charitable organizations.
In addition, Darren works closely with Chinese, and other non-U.S., companies, assisting them to go public in the United States, and developing solutions to the many business and cultural challenges faced by these companies.
Darren is the happily married father of two beautiful girls.
